My friend Kenny Karabelnikoff often liked to play this first reel at our weekly session in Anchorage, Alaska. The two names I have for it are Mulqueen’s and Free and Easy. The second tune is by Billy McComiskey, the true name of which is Maureen Glynn’s Reel, after a friend of his who has now passed. The name I have given is more commonly used, originating in a disagreement during a recording session over who composed it! I got the last tune from the playing of the Sligo-based band Dervish.
